Healthy Pizza in 30 Minutes

Ciao from Candace. Today, I thought we would share one of our favorite 30 minute meals that my sister and I love to cook in our households. We all just love pizza (I mean who doesn't..) This recipe is easy to make and your friends and family will think you spent hours in the kitchen!

Homemade Healthy Pizza in 30 Minutes

Prep Time: 30 Minutes   Difficulty: Easy    Cook Time: 12-15 Minutes  Servings: 10 Servings


Pre-made Pizza Crust (I like Trader’s Joes & It’s under two bucks and fresh)


Olive Oil Cooking Spray

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

4 Tablespoons of your favorite sauce

Sea Salt and Ground Pepper, to taste

12 ounces, Fresh Mozzarella Ball, Sliced Thin

Handful of Sliced Mushrooms

½ Onion Thinly Sliced

1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced

1 bunch Washed and Rinsed Arugula

½ cup Shredded Parmesan


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Slice veggies and set aside

Slice and Peel eggplant

 place on an indoor grill or spread out on cookie sheet and place in the broiler for 5 minutes on each side (make sure you keep an eye on the eggplant to not let it burn) Then set aside to cool

Spray pizza pan with olive oil

Sprinkle a touch of flour on a rolling pin, roll out pre-made pizza dough as thinly as you can to fit your preferred pizza pan.

Lightly drizzle olive oil over dough and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.


Lightly spoon out your preferred sauce in the center of the dough and smooth your way out to the edges.

Sprinkle Peppers, Onions, Seared Eggplants, Mushrooms evenly all over top of sauce

Thinly slice mozzarella ball and lay all over top of veggies. Then lightly sprinkle pepper and salt all over top.. Place pizza in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is nice and bubbly and the crust is golden.

Remove from oven and immediately top with a light sprinkle of parmesan cheese and arugula over bubbly hot pizza.

Just before serving, Slice into cute squares or sweet wedges then serve immediately!!

  2. Meat pizza chicken looks juicy. What a lovely dish. I have a quick question to you. Why you used Parmesan and mozzarella. we like the flavor of the Parmesan cheese, but it would be a bit strong custom essay writing service if you tried to go all Parmesan. The mozzarella is a milder cheese and it gives that great cheese pull ;-)
